In November 2012, Dell introduced the monochrome B2360 and B3460 printers, along with the B3465 MFP. OEM-rated print speeds ranged from 40 to 50 pages per minute (ppm) and monthly duty cycles from 80,000 to 150,000 pages per month.
All three models use the same 2,500 page low yield and 8,500 page high yield toner cartridges, along with the 60,000 page yield drum unit. The B3460 and B3465 also use a 20,000 page extra high yield toner cartridges. Cartridge SKUs vary depending upon the market region in which they are sold. Replacement toner cartridges and drum units are available in both Use and Return and Non-Return versions. The B2360 ships with a 2,500 page yield “ship-with” cartridge and the B3460 ships with a 6,000 page yield “ship-with” cartridge. The B3465 MFP ships with a 7,500 page yield “ship-with” cartridge.
Note that additional printer models have been released since these initial three were introduced, and all use the same supplies set.
All toner cartridges require chips for the printers to function correctly.
